Polish television broadcaster Polsat took top place in the New Year's Eve TV rankings as almost 3.75 million tuned in to watch the station's live coverage of their event at Warsaw's Plac Konstytucji, reported Gazeta Wyborcza. In comparison, TVP2's rival broadcast was watched by 1.82 million viewers.
However, TVP still took the overall lead over the weekend with 8 of the top 10 programs watched on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day being aired on TVP1 and TVP2.
