Christmas long weekend deadly on Polish roads
Between Friday, December 23 and Monday, December 26, the Polish Police reported 44 deaths and 408 people injured in 301 accidents on Polish roads, according to the Polish Press Agency. The 10,000 police officers on duty over the long Christmas weekend also arrested nearly 1,000 drunk drivers.
