Polish government institution the Agricultural Property Agency (APA) expects to have sold 120,000 hectares of land by the end of 2011, a sizeable increase on the previous year's total, reported Puls Biznesu.

Last year the APA sold 97,000 hectares. This year's total is also set to beat the APA's previous record amount for a 12-month period.

By December 10, the APA will contribute its final payment (zł.700 million) of this year to Poland's budget, with its contribution for 2011 reaching a total of zł.3 billion.
