New Nordic air connections for Poland
Polish airports received a boost this week with news that a connection from Warsaw to Iceland is set to open, while the number of flights to other Nordic countries is also set to increase, reported Rzeczpospolita.
SAS Scandinavian Airlines, which currently operates flights to northern Europe from Warsaw, Gdańsk and Poznań and Wroc³aw, now wants to connect Denmark's capital Copenhagen with Katowice, from spring 2012.
Meanwhile, one of Scandinavia's largest low-cost airlines – Norwegian – is set to start flying from Kraków to Stockholm and from Szczecin to Copenhagen.
