Plus, the mobile network operator owned by telecoms company  Polkomtel, is getting ready to significantly expand its high-speed internet service, reported Puls Biznesu.

It's only been three weeks since Polish businessman Zygmunt Solorz-Żak took over Polkomtel, but he's already pushing for changes at network operator Plus.

The company's high-speed LTE network currently only reaches 20 percent of the company's mobile internet-using clients, with the slightly slower HSPA+ network available to some 81 percent.

“We want to show we're on the forefront of technological advancement,” Krzysztof Kilian, vice president of the management board at Polkomtel, told Puls Biznesu.
