No binding offers for Polish Bank Millennium
Unofficial sources say that no binding offers have been submitted for the purchase of Banco Comercial Português (BCP)'s 65.51 stake in Polish Bank Millennium, reported Rzeczpospolita.
The deadline for submissions was this past Friday.
Experts suggest that the current situation in the markets is putting investors off making large purchases.
Several banks including PKO BP, Pekao, BNP Paribas and Intesa Sanpaolo have been cited as possibly being interested in the acquisition.
BCP's share in Bank Millennium is currently valued at zł.2.9 billion.
