Poland and US join NATO Cyber Defense Center
Poland and the US are the latest countries to join the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defense Center of Excellence (CCD COE), reported Gazeta Wyborcza.
The official flag-raising ceremony will be held on Thursday. CCD COE was formally established on May 14, 2008, in order to enhance NATO’s cyber defense capabilities.
With Poland and the US joining, CCD COE now comprises 10 nations. These 10 participate in CCD COE's work and contribute to its budget.
Other members include Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Slovakia and Spain.
The NATO Cooperative Cyber Defense Center of Excellence is located in Tallinn, Estonia.
