Luxembourg-based Hedan has received the green light from Poland's anti-monopoly office (UOKiK), to acquire Poznań-based Stary Browar Business and Art Centre and Fortis Nowy Stary Browar.
The first is the owner of the property, and the second deals with management and leasing in the building. Both belong to Fortis, owned by Grażyna Kulczyk, former wife of one of Poland's wealthiest businessmen, Jan Kulczyk.
Hedan is a subsidiary of capital group Atrium, which owns 19 shopping centers in Poland, including Warsaw's Targówek, Reduta and Promenada. Analysts estimate that the value of Stary Browar to be over €200 million, reported Rzeczpospolita
