In an interview with TVN24, Polish President Bronisław Komorowski expressed his satisfaction with Civic Platform (PO), his former party, saying it had achieved the majority of its goals since he assumed the presidency.
He stressed that all government agencies helped achieve this success, and said that even during the current election campaign season, when the opposition has tried to point out gaps between promises and results, PO had done remarkably well and very few gaps exist to be questioned.
Mr Komorowski said that although Poland's situation was far from ideal and "there remain many things to be worked out ... everything that has been accomplished thus far can be a great source of pride."
