Group purchasing is one of the fastest developing segments in Poland's e-commerce market. The first websites offering this service appeared in Poland in 2010 and have since gained millions of users, reports Polska The Times.
According to an analysis by the Polish Internet Survey, 3.2 million Poles used group purchases services in 2010, making Poland the fifth-largest e-commerce market in the European Union.
It is estimated that in 2010 internet sales reached €3.3 billion in Poland and may double by 2015.
