Polish online ad market grows, newspapers take hit

Total advertising expenditure in Poland amounted to zł.3.81 billion in the first half of this year, according to media house Starlink.
The figure represents a 4.9 percent year-on-year increase.
Strarlink's data showed that the fastest-growing advertising sector was online, which grew by 23.2 percent year-on-year to zł.593.7 million, Parkiet reported.
Television ad revenues grew by 4.1 percent, bringing in zł.2 billion, but newspaper ads dropped by 5.3 percent to zł.283.4 million.
