International Trading and Investments Holding, which is now considering selling its stake in television station business Grupa TVN, has not published any business results for two years. However, daily Puls Biznesu has recently learned ITI’s key financial data.
After a disastrous 2009, when the group’s revenues shrunk by 14.5 percent (nearly €100 million), 2010 brought a recovery, with revenues jumping by more than 21 percent. Almost half of this increase was generated by DTH platform “n”.
The group’s net loss in 2010 amounted to more than €30 million which, while large, was less than the €50 million reported the previous year.
ITI saw its third consecutive year in the red in 2010. Last year’s results are just as expected – better than in 2009 and worse than in the years of the advertising boom, say analysts.
ITI valued its assets (TVN, Multikino, Wydawnictwo Pascal, Religia TV and Legia Warszawa) at €1.3 billion.
