Grupa Mokate, a major Polish producer of coffee, tea and other food products, is focusing on expansion this year.

The company has plans to enter the Pakistani and Balkan markets, as well as to offer its products in Kenya, Dziennik Gazeta Prawna reports. To these ends, Mokate is accelerating construction on new manufacturing plants in Poland and abroad, especially in the Czech Republic, where the company operates the Marila Balirny facilities

According to board member Adam Mokrysz, Grupa Mokate's investment total is likely to be higher than last year’s zł.40 million. This would allow the group to increase its production capacity by 25 percent over the next two years. Export sales, which accounted for 57 percent of last year’s revenue, are to push 60 percent in 2011.
