No privatization for Polish ports
Deputy Treasury Minister Mikołaj Budzanowski announced that the ports of Gdańsk, Gdynia and Szczecin-Świnoujście will not be privatized. He explained that they are of strategic importance for the Polish economy, and therefore the Treasury will retain control over them.
The year 2010 was a breakthrough year in terms of imports of goods to Poland through the country’s seaports. All three ports recorded record high net profits.
