Port of Gdynia to go on spending spree

Half a billion złoty could be invested between 2011 and 2013

The management board of the port of Gdynia plans to spend nearly zł.500 million on investments in the years 2011-2013, Puls Biznesu reports. These would involve rebuilding piers and developing internal roads and railway tracks.

The port invested nearly zł.76 million in 2010. During that year, 14.7 million metric tons of goods were loaded, a 11.1 percent increase over 2009.

According to initial financial reports, the port generated zł.43.3 million in profit last year, Puls Biznesu writes.
