PZU to elect new president and board
The supervisory board at PZU, Poland's largest insurer, has passed a resolution to initiate proceedings to choose the position of president and six members of the management board, Rzeczpospolita reports.
"Board members will be responsible for the following tasks: retail customers, corporate clients, investment, finance, operations, claims and IT," said the company in a statement.
The term of current president and board of PZU ends this coming June. PZU spokesperson Michał Witkowski refused to answer reporters' questions about whether current president Andrzej Klesyk would compete in the upcoming leadership contest, Rzeczpospolita writes.
