Cars to be made again in Lublin
At a famous Polish car plant that made cars both in the communist period under the brand “Lublin” and later as a Daewoo Motor Polska factory, new cars are to roll off the production line once again.
But instead of the expected return of the historic “Lublin” brand name, the vehicles are to be called Pasagon, according to Puls Biznesu.
Zbygniew Tymiński, CEO of automotive manufacturer DZT Tymińscy, refused to confirm or deny the speculation on the name. He did however say that the company was preparing to launch their new model on September 16.
Plus Biznesu has stated that the company is rumored to be planning to scrap the legendary “Lublin” name because they were unable to buy it from Intrall Polska which holds the trademark rights.
