Cyfrowy Polsat's Q2 net profit up
Cyfrowy Polsat, Poland's leading pay-TV platform operator, recorded a 25 percent increase in second-quarter net profit, as it took on more customers and increased the revenue gained per user.
CP scored a net profit of zł.67 million, the company revealed on Thursday. Its Q2 revenues increased 21.3 percent to zł.374 million on the year.
“As at 31 March 2010 we had 3,239,755 subscribers, 15.6 percent more than as at 31 March 2009,” said the operator.
The platform is owned by Zygmunt Solorz-Zak, Poland's second-richest person, according to a 2010 ranking published by Forbes magazine.
