August 17-31
| Fashion illustration brings together art and apparel Courtesy of Anna Maria Przybysz |
Fashion illustration is a field that encompasses graphic design, drawing and painting, and can be found in a variety of different mediums, ranging from fashion magazines to advertising. In Poland, however, it’s still an under-appreciated area of design. Although it is easily recognizable as art, those who create it remain hidden in the shadows.
The aim of the Fashion Draw exhibition is to change this state of affairs. To this end, it presents the works of the most talented contemporary Polish fashion designers, who are often better appreciated abroad than in their native country.
Works by Polish artists such as Agata Endo Nowicka, Anna Halarewicz, Anna Maria Przybysz, Łukasz Pycior, Natalia Jaroszewska, Magda Antoniuk, Olka Osadzińska and Tomek Sadurski will be on display.
The show will be hosted by Skwer, at Krakowskie Przedmieście 60a in Warsaw. It runs from August 17-31.
