Poland's budget deficit shrank last month by zł.1.9 billion owing to, among other things, revenue from National Bank of Poland profits.

The state's non-tax revenue went up from zł.9.2 billion at the end of June to almost zł.15 billion a month later. Seven months into this year, the deficit amounts to zł.35 billion, that is 66.9 percent of the sum planned for this year.

The state's income reached zł.139.6 billion, 56.1 percent of the income planned for this fiscal year and expenses were zł.174.5 billion, 57.9 percent of the planned amount of zł.301 billion.
