Vacation period affects car sales
Polish car dealers sold 24,500 new automobiles in July. This represented a significant decrease in comparison with June sales, which reached 28,200. It was however, only a 0.58% drop y/y as car sales usually fall during the holiday period of July and August. In total, 182,000 cars have been sold in Poland since the beginning of the year. That is a 5.5% drop y/y on 2009.
