Warsaw Stock Exchange-listed developer Echo Investment has commenced construction on its first investment in Wrocław.
The Kuryłowicz and Associates-designed apartment building, called Przy Słowiańskim Wzgórzu, will cost some zł.40 million to construct and will be erected in the city center near the Old Town.
“This is a perfect offer both for people looking for an apartment for themselves and for investors planning to purchase apartments for lease,” said Marta Politowicz, manager of Echo Investment’s Wrocław sales office. “The apartments in Przy Słowiańskim Wzgórzu will certainly be popular with students of a number of universities located nearby.”
“Wrocław is one of the fastest developing cities in Poland and a residential property market [that has great prospects],” Echo’s residential project department developer, Piotr Laszkiewicz, said.
The building, which will vary in height from seven to 12 storeys, will comprise 197 units and be built by general contractor Eiffage Mitex.
Apartments will range from 41 to 97 sqm and will have from one to five bedrooms. The construction enables investors seeking larger apartments to buy neighboring locales and remove the adjoining walls.
Prices for apartments start at zł.5,800 per sqm. Construction, which commenced last month, is due for completion in H2 2012.
