Vacation period affects car sales
Polish car dealers sold 24,500 new automobiles in July. This represented a significant decrease in comparison with June sales, which reached 28,200. It was however, only a 0.58 percent drop y/y as car sales usually drop during the holiday period of July and August.
Skoda led the pack, selling 2,806 cars, while Fiat followed with 2,168 sold.
In total, 182,000 cars have been sold in Poland since the beginning of the year. That is a 5.5 percent drop y/y for the same period.
