Polish unemployment falls, thanks to labor funds
There's no doubt the country's unemployment rate is falling, but it's largely thanks to more public money being thrown at temporary employment opportunities, reports Rzeczpospolita.
Experts feel Poland's unemployment assistance programs are becoming increasingly less effective.
For instance, this year's budget of the Labor Fund (FP) is some zł.15 billion. More than zł.6 billion of that money is to go to helping those seeking work, but masses of job seekers still continue to register as unemployed.
