Sfinks to expand in Asian markets?

Restaurant chain Sfinks says that despite an unsuccessful completion of a planned takeover of pizzeria chain Da Grasso, the previously announced expectations for 2011 still hold ground.

These include predictions that the group will operate 150 restaurants, see its sales jump to zł.250 million and its EBITDA rise to zł.12 million.

But analysts are skeptical the group can reach those ambitious goals. They say that reaching that magical zł.250-million mark will be difficult without takeovers. To that end, the company says it's studying two Asian markets to see whether it can make any acquisitions there.
