PO selects new Parliamentary Club leader
Tomasz Tomczykiewicz has been selected as the new head of the Civic Platform (PO) Parliamentary Club, replacing Grzegorz Schetyna, who was recently appointed as Sejm Speaker.
Prime Minister Donald Tusk recommended Mr Tomczykiewicz for the role and, according to PO politicians, his appointment had been a sure bet. The new chairman will now nominate a deputy, secretary and treasurer for the Club in the near future, with the remainder of a presidium to be selected at a later date.
