On Monday, the Opel factory in Gliwice was a storm of anticipation. And with good reason. This week a number of high-ranking Opel officials will visit the factory, to discuss a massive new investment.

As the German automobile company looks to start production on two new Astro IV models, fueled by a zł.16-million investment grant from the Polish government, it's confirming the new lines will be made at the Polish facility.

This project is expected to be worth some zł.400 million.
