Cheap domestic flights to be introduced in Poland
The Polish national airline, Lot, plans to slash prices on its domestic flights, allowing the company to compete with the rail operators.
“We are finalizing the plan. We will start in the holidays,”Jacek Balcer, spokesperson for Lot, told Dziennik Gazeta Prawna.
Passengers will at first fly on ATR and Embraer planes, while new planes will be introduced next year.
Although the airline has not yet commented on exact prices, the daily has discovered that a two way ticket between Polish cities could cost as little as zł.70. (RG)
