Poland's presidential elections are now less than three weeks away and the political games are in full swing.

On Tuesday Jarosław Kaczyński of the Law & Justice party (PiS) revealed his plans for Poland's future in the global economy.

Mr Kaczyński says it's imperative Poland join the G20 – a club of the 20 richest countries in the world – by 2020, as part of its quest toward financial autonomy and social cohesion.

The PiS candidate blasted his presidential rival Bronisław Komorowski, candidate of the ruling Civic Platform party, for ignoring this important goal for Poland. Mr Kaczyński is also organizing a series of public debates on the state of Poland and on how best to manage the country's economic future, a move political analysts are applauding as an innovative and potentially effective political move.
