TV advertising is getting more expensive. The country's largest TV stations have made their consumer prices do double-digit jumps y/y. Analysts are not surprised, as the price hikes already put into place by TVN, Polsat and TVP have helped the stations climb out of a considerable amount of debt.

According to some preliminary numbers reported by TVN for Q1 of 2010, the firm's revenues are up 2.5 percent y/y.

That means, Poland's TV advertising market is again on the rise, after shrinking 11.9 percent in 2009 according to numbers from communications and media firm Starlink.
