Seventy-five percent of Polish micro firms fear change, reports Puls Biznesu.

The reason is very simple: for many, innovation mostly means higher costs.

There are1.8 million micro firms in Poland – employing up to 10 people each. Most of them feel that they simply cannot afford to innovate, no matter what the benefits such a move would bring in the long-term.

Just 26 percent of the 1,500 companies polled said they made any kinds of changes to the way they run their business in the last three years.
