The Kupieckie Domy Towarowe (KDT) structure which stands on Pl. Defilad in downtown Warsaw is to be sold by its owner Kruszer, which wants at least zł.3.9 million from the sale.

The company has decided to sell the 10,000 sqm metal structure on the internet auction site Allegro. Kruszer had purchased KDT for zł.103,000 after City Hall failed to find a taker for its respective offering prices of zł.10 million and zł.7 million.

For an additional fee Kruszer will also dismantle the building and transport it to an area specified by the buyer.

The structure must be removed from its current location by June 2010, to make way for planned construction work on a second underground train line and a modern art museum.
