A court has approved a decision by the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) to fine PKO BP zł.5.7 million over an advertising campaign which was deemed to be misleading.

"[UOKiK] found that during the campaign that advertises the timely placing of the bank reported that [the bank account advertised] is remunerated at the rate of six percent over a period of twelve months. This period, however, was not calculated from the moment of signing of the agreement, but a deadline set by the bank,” UOKiK wrote in a statement. (RG)
