Luxury car manufacturer Aston Martin officially opened its first showroom in Poland on Wednesday.
The showroom, which had unofficially operated for a couple of weeks, already has 21 orders for the luxury automobiles.
“A large portion of clients chose the newest model – Rapide,” head of the branch Marcin D±browski told Rzeczpospolita. New models cost around one million złoty
Aston Martin is not the only luxury car manufacturer that will open a showroom in Poland this year. Bentley plans to open a sales outlet in spring, followed by Ferrari. Although the luxury manufacturers sell only a few such cars a year, the market is slowly growing. “The market for cars of this type is developing despite the crisis,” said the head of the Automotive Market Research Institute, Samar, Wojciech Drzewiecki. According to the institute, the average price of a luxury car in Poland amounted to zł.990,000.
Aston Martin is represented by AML Polska, which sells and services the cars. “In 2013, Aston Martin will celebrate the hundredth anniversary of its creation. We want to sell 100 cars until then,” said deputy president of AML Polska, Marcin D±browski.
