Euro 2012 concerns
Last week Rzeczpospolita reported that European soccer body UEFA’s latest confidential status report on the Euro 2012 soccer championship had criticized the preparations of Warsaw and Wroc³aw. Preparations at Poland’s other two host cities received less criticism. Gdańsk’s stadium was described as being at a “medium risk,” while Poznań’s was marked as “low risk.” The latter is the only host city in Poland where a stadium has been expanded rather than built from scratch.
