Russian spy caught in Poland
A Russian national suspected of spying for GRU, Russia's foreign military intelligence unit, has been arrested in Poland.
According to Dziennik Gazeta Prawna, the man had been living in Poland for over ten years, spoke Polish fluently and ran a small business.
He was arrested by agents of the Internal Security Agency (ABW), who had only informed the inner circles of the PM's and president's chancelleries as well as the district prosecutor about the intelligence.
"The case is of the highest confidence, so I can not disclose its details. I can only confirm that a suspect is in custody and we will soon indict him," Deputy Public Prosecutor of Appeal in Warsaw, Robert Majewski told DGP. (RG)
