Sobiesław Zasada's GranTurismo Italia managed to negotiate the exclusive right to distribute Maserati cars in Poland.
"We want to launch sales next year, initially in Warsaw. For the time being, I cannot reveal the actual location of the first showroom. Negotiations concerning this issue are under way," said Dante Cinque, managing director of GranTurismo Italia, which is also set to offer Ferrari cars in Poland.
Currently, the manager is not willing to reveal any further details so it remains unknown what number of cars are to be sold annually, what the expected prices would be and which locations outside of Warsaw will be taken into account.
"These are very specific cars, which could attract a few to a dozen clients annually. I also believe that more important than developing a dealership network is the establishment of a garage dedicated to a particular brand," said Wojciech Drzewiecki, president of Samar, which monitors the Polish automotive markets.
