The court has given the final blow to 20 year old IT company Techmex and agreed to the demand of creditors who were calling for a liquidation bankruptcy.

This rejects the request by company management and a few creditors and precludes any possibility of the firm reaching an agreement with its creditors. The firm from Bielsko-Biała has a week to submit an appeal to the court related to the verdict but it was not revealed whether such a move is planned.

In the middle of this year, Techmex had revealed its financial situation, at the time claiming that its short-term debts exceeded zł.167 million, zł.90 million of which were bank loans.

Two of its creditors, Komputronik and Karen, to which Techmex owed zł.3 million and zł.5 million respectively, wanted to enter into proceedings with the company. Opposing such a process was DnB Nord which demanded a bankruptcy of Techmex without the possibility of entering into negotiations.
