The value of exports of the domestic automotive industry has shrunk by a quarter over the past seven months.
According to a report by AutomotiveSuppliers.pl, in July the domestic automotive sector exported products worth €1.29 billion, which is 21.5 percent less than a year earlier and 11.8 percent less than in June.
In total after seven months of this year, auto-related exports amounted to €9.06 billion and was below the value of the last year's sum by 24 percent.
The most significant buyer is Germany, which purchased 30.6 percent of the total foreign sales between January and July. The value of the orders from the German market stood at €2.77 billion. Other significant partners in the sector are Italy, with a 20 percent share of orders, and France, with 7.1 percent.
