Later this week representatives of the Civic Platform (PO) are planning to submit a motion to establish an investigation commission which is to look into the development of the gambling bill since 2002.
"The draft of the bill is ready. But we want to improve it so that it will be supported in the Sejm and make sure that it does not violate the Constitution," said Grzegorz Dolniak, former deputy head of the PO parliamentary club.
However, Law and Justice (PiS) as well as the Democratic Left Alliance (SLD) have also submitted their motions. PO politicians claim that the proposition submitted by the SLD is not good enough as it does not mention any time frame from which the commission should investigate.
According to the proposition of PiS, the commission would also have to investigate whether the Prime Minister violated the law on confidential information.
