The chairman of the supervisory board of Bioton, Ryszard Krauze, strongly denied rumors that the president of the company, Janusz Guy, might be replaced by the former president of the firm and current management board member Adam Wilczęga.
"I deny this. The supervisory board did not consider and is not considering such a scenario, as there is no reason. The firm is functioning in line with approved foundations," said Mr Krauze.
According to Puls Biznesu, however, there is a hidden conflict within the firm which has not been made public. According to Janusz Guy, this might have been related to the ongoing restructuring of the firm.
"This is a painful process, which has numerous supporters, but also opponents. Some of them would like me to disappear from the management board," said the CEO. Potential areas of conflict include the possible replacement of some board members after his appointment, as well as cooperation with current management board members.
