Representatives of the Foreign Ministry are in talks with the US administration concerning new plans related to a new defense system after withdrawing from the construction of the anti missile shield in Poland and the Czech Republic.
"If the Americans would confirm on paper what they are talking about, these would be interesting propositions," said Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski, adding that he will not reveal any details. According to unofficial information, the US administration still wants to locate an anti-missile system in Poland, however possibly in more than one location.
On Monday, the Deputy Foreign Minister Andrzej Kremer will travel with a delegation to visit Washington in order to negotiate the new proposition.
