In line with its plans, tire wholesaler Oponeo.pl has already launched websites in Germany, Spain and France, while its Italian site is currently being tested and should be live in 2-3 weeks.
"In countries in which we launched our e-stores, sales are already taking place. We are continuously working on improving the websites and increasing their functionality," said Ernest Pujszo, responsible for developing the foreign sales of Oponeo.pl.
Once the e-stores in Spain and France reach their full capability, the firm will carry out local promotional campaigns, like in Germany where the e-store was launched in February.
Monika Siarkowska, the spokesperson of the firm, added that the first opinions of clients are positive, but it is too early to provide a full picture. Previously the firm was announcing that launching foreign sales should boost its revenues by about 30%. In 2008 revenues stood at zł.94.2 million.
