Self-Defense candidate promises zł.100 for each vote
Józef Jędruch, the Self-Defense candidate to the European Parliament in Silesia, who was accused of extortion of zł.300 million, is promising zł.100 to each person who will vote for him.
"Ladies and gentlemen, do not believe in empty promises of the politicians. I am making a public pledge that if I will be selected to the European Parliament, I will give a zł.100 donation to each person who votes for me," he declared in a television ad.
The prosecutor plans to investigate his action. Jędruch is also most probably the only candidate to the European Parliament who cannot travel to Strasbourg or Brussels as the court has taken away his passport.
