Poland remains free of swine flu despite recent fears
Patients who were recently admitted to hospitals with suspected swine flu have been cleared of the virus.
"No one has been infected with the virus so far in Poland," said the spokesperson of the Chief Sanitary Inspectorate Jan Bondar.
He added that several groups of people who have arrived from Mexico have also undergone medical check-ups. Many citizens do not believe that the virus has not come to Poland, and are purchasing drugs.
"We should not be surprised that people panic when the media keeps on talking about the flu. Drugs should only be taken under the supervision of a doctor," said Doctor Paweł Grzesiowski.
