A Mexican woman and a Polish man are under observation in the Wola hospital in the Polish capital, Warsaw, while a woman is being monitored in the northern town of Elbląg.

The Mexican woman, who recently returned from a holiday in her home country, was the first to be admitted. Although the hospital has yet to confirmed the virus, she is still being kept under observation.

"We are monitoring the situation, there are no new events that would force us to make new announcements," Prime Minister Donald Tusk said yesterday.

“There is a 99 percent probability that the two people at the Warsaw hospital have a mere cold,” Wiesław Rozbicki, from Warsaw's Sanepid sanitary inspection institution, told daily Dziennik.

None of the patients' illnesses have yet been confirmed by hospital authorities. (RG)
