Developer Globe Trade Centre (GTC) has secured a €20 (zł.85.6) million bank loan to complete the third phase of its Platinium Business Park office project in Warsaw. German real estate financing bank Berlin Hyp is providing the loan.
Located at the intersection of ul. Domaniewska and ul. Wołoska in the capital’s Mokotów district, the Platinium Business Park scheme will comprise five buildings offering a total of over 60,000 sqm of class-A office space. International real estate consultancy Cushman & Wakefield is the leasing agent for the project.
The first two phases of the Platinium complex have already been completed and tenants in these buildings include marketing agency Leo Burnett, jeans producer Levi Strauss, advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi, medical-equipment provider GE Medical Systems, financial adviser Expander and media house Zenith Optimedia.
Construction of the complex’s third phase, which will comprise 12,000 sqm of space, was launched in October 2008 and is scheduled for completion in December this year. GTC has already leased 2,700 sqm in the building to travel agency TUI and is in talks with a number of other prospective tenants.
“Despite the economic slowdown, as we talk to our partners we are still seeing interest in the lease of modern office space that ensures friendly and comfortable working conditions, easy access to the city center, well-developed employee-targeted social and service space, as well as the chance to develop within one business park,” said Katarzyna Pankiewicz, leasing director at GTC.
WSE-listed Globe Trade Centre was founded in 1994 in Warsaw. The company is present in 10 European countries and is active in the residential, office and retail space development sectors.
