Lenovo pulls the plug on its investment plans
Chinese IT concern Lenovo has withdrawn from its USD 20 million investment plans in Poland.
"First of all the production plant in Legnickie Pole was not built, because Immo Industry Group (IIG), the developer responsible for the construction, went bankrupt. And secondly, the global situation has caused the company to withdraw from the idea related to production in Europe. Therefore, it will not invest in Legnickie Pole, nor Nowa Sól," said a source quoted by Puls Biznesu.
Delin development, which took over bankrupt IIG declared earlier that it will continue with construction work even if Lenovo withdrew from its project. Delin did not comment on the situation. (AK)
