The tragic consequences had been predicted two weeks earlier by soldiers

Four soldiers from the Air Force Brigade died yesterday in a plane accident in Babie Doły near Gdańsk.
A Bryza transport plane burst into flames as it crash-landed and left nothing but a total wreck.
"This was a training flight," said Czesław Cichy, the spokesperson of the Brigade. Just two weeks earlier, Rzeczpospolita reported that due to cutbacks, the planes fly only once a week for 20 minutes. "We will kill ourselves soon. The most important thing in flying is training. A dramatic event will take place," said the soldiers at that time. (AK)
