Developer BTC-Invest will build an oval-shaped office building, its second such project, in Mokotów. BTD Office Center, an 11-storey class-A office building, will be constructed at the intersection of ul. Domaniewska and Al. Niepodległości.
The building was designed by architectural studio Kazimierski i Ryba. The total area of the project will be 14,000 sqm, including 8,205 sqm of office space and 442 sqm devoted to services such as a bank outlet, a restaurant and an art gallery. The building will also be equipped with 108 parking places.
Construction is scheduled to wrap up in Q3 2010.
“We are deciding about the general contractor now and we should choose a company by the end of April,” Jerzy Bar, president of BTC-Invest, told Rzeczpospolita. “It’s a perfect time to build for someone who has obtained financing, because the prices of general contractors have dropped. We obtained financing from Bank Pekao in January,” he added.
In the future, the company plans to build another two oval office buildings near BTD Office Center. These projects have already been designed by architectural studios Iosis and AGK Architekci.
According to its website, BTC-Invest has been operating on the Warsaw real estate market since 1995. During this period, the company realized three projects – office centers BTA, BTB and BTC –delivering more than 25,000 sqm of class-A office space to the market.
